Margret Rey was born in Germany and was active in the U.S. Together with her husband, H. A. Rey, she created many children's books that are still beloved to this day, including the "Curious George" series.

Tetsuta Watanabe (translation)
Watanabe Tetta Born in Tokyo in 1962. After working at a university, he is currently writing and translating children's books. His picture books include "I Took Off My Shoes!" (March 2022 issue of "Kodomo no Tomo Younger Edition") and "Pakupaku Half Bun" (both published by Fukuinkan Shoten). His translations include "The Bear and the Hermit" (co-translated with his father, Watanabe Shigeo/Nora Shoten) and the "Library Mouse" series (Zuiunsha). He currently lives in Australia.
