About product prices

We make every effort to display accurate product information on this site.
In the unlikely event that an incorrect product price or price-related information (including points awarded) is displayed on the site, we will make a price adjustment as follows:
If a product's correct price is lower than the price stated on our site, we will charge the lower amount.
If the product's correct price is higher than the price displayed on this website, we will, at our discretion, contact you before shipping and either inform you of the correct price and ask you to provide instructions for shipping the product, or inform you that we will cancel your order.

Are there any pre-order bonuses?

For products that come with pre-order bonuses, the bonus details will be stated in the product description.
No bonuses are offered for products not listed.

Can I ship products from different stores together?

Can I change my payment method after I place an order?

It is not possible to change from cash on delivery to credit card payment.
You will need to purchase it again.

Can I have items I order shipped separately?

Items ordered together will be shipped once all items are received.
If you would like your items shipped as soon as they arrive, please complete an order for each item separately.

Can I specify the arrival date?

You cannot specify the arrival date. (Especially for back-ordered items, the arrival date is uncertain.)
If you are not at home when the product is delivered, a delivery notice will be placed in your mailbox.
If you are unable to receive your item, please contact the address listed on the package to arrange redelivery and inform us of your desired delivery date.

Shipping is free if the total amount of your order is 5,000 yen or more (tax included).
If the total amount is less than 5,000 yen (tax included), the shipping fee will be 500 yen (tax included) nationwide.
Orders are processed at each store and each transaction counts as one order.

When purchasing multiple items at the same time, if one of the items is canceled due to customer's convenience and the total order amount falls below the free shipping conditions, shipping charges will be incurred.
We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding in advance.

We do not accept returns or exchanges for reasons other than initial defects.

You cannot choose the shipping company or delivery method.

Can I have it gift wrapped?

Gift wrapping is available for an additional fee (¥330).
After adding to your cart, please select "wrapping" in the gift settings.
If ordering multiple items, please indicate which item you would like wrapped in the [Request] field.
The [Request] field will be used as we proceed with your order, so please fill it in.

If you order products from multiple stores, they will be wrapped separately for each store.

This site lists and sells used and vintage books that are currently for sale.
Even books with the same title may be in different conditions. Please check the condition of the product in the description before purchasing.
The condition is listed based on the following criteria:

C: Some major scratches and dirt. Or some scratches and dirt overall.
D: Scratches and dirt all over

When you order recyclable home appliances sold at TSUTAYA BOOKS Online Store, we offer a recycling service for the home appliances you used.
