Fragrance
The thick white flowers of the giant magnolia tree burst with the life force of the earth, and from the fruity top notes the creamy floral scent characteristic of magnolias gradually emerges. The striking white floral middle note is matte yet has a bright scent that seems to shine from within.
The final scent is a dry, soft blend of the sweetness of mitarashi bean paste and miso bean paste, which are somehow familiar to Japanese people, iris and woody notes in perfect balance. We used plenty of natural floral fragrances such as absolutes and essences, and paid particular attention to the texture. It leaves a light feeling on the skin.

What is Dry Oriental?
In the West, "Oriental"
It has a glossy fragrance. The alluring animalic and spicy scents are harmonious with floral and balsamic sweetness and light citrus. On the other hand, this "Dry Oriental" is a matte "Japanese Oriental" as imagined by a Japanese perfumer. The animalic scent of miso and soy sauce is finished with a dry, fragrant iris and woody scent, harmonizing with floral, balsamic and citrus.

Magnolia tree: Scientific name: Magnolia obovate, a species native to Japan
It is a deciduous tree with a trunk that can grow up to 1 meter in diameter and 30 meters in height. The large leaves of the magnolia tree have a long history of being deeply rooted in the lives of Japanese people, as they are used to make magnolia-leaf miso, which is made by wrapping miso paste or mochi in the leaves and baking them, and they are also used as plates. In May, large cream-white flowers up to 20 cm in size bloom at the tips of the branches, and their fragrance can be heard far and wide on the wind.
