Fragrance
The lustrous white iris gives off a soft, light and lasting fragrance.
The top note is a light citrus with a subtle peach down scent hidden behind it, giving it a mellow feel. The last note is a subdued sandalwood and musk that envelops the fragrance in a gentle way, so as not to overshadow the delicateness of the iris.

What is Iris?
Iris (Iris odorata) is the most expensive fragrance in existence. Iris is a member of the iris family, and the rhizomes used for fragrance are from special "iris" rhizomes native to the Mediterranean coastal region. It takes time for the roots to grow, and if dry aging is included, it can take as long as seven years to harvest. The oil yield is low, and the highest quality oil, which has been extracted in multiple stages to increase its purity, can cost 10 million yen per kilogram. Although it is not as flashy as rose or jasmine, the soft, luminous scent of iris is felt by perfumers as being like a jewel.

Parfum Satori's collection places great importance on a "lightness" that is suited to the humidity and climate of Japan. The fragrances incorporate the perfumer's own knowledge of plants, as well as inspiration from flower arrangement, tea ceremony, and incense ceremony, and many of the ingredients are imported directly from a historic fragrance company in Grasse, southern France, the mecca of perfume.
