Koji Yanagi
Born in 1967. Novelist.
In 2001, he won the Asahi New Writer's Prize for "The Fake 'Botchan' Murder Case." In 2009, he won the Yoshikawa Eiji Literary Newcomer's Prize and the Mystery Writers of Japan Award for Best Novel and Best Short Story Collection for "Joker Game." His works include "The Island of Beginnings," "New World," "Tokyo Prison," "Phantom City," "The Tiger and the Moon," "Romance," "Ghost Stories," "The Elephant Never Forgets," and "Fujin Raijin."
