When I was a child, the world seemed full of lines and patterns. Flowing rivers, wildflowers swaying in the wind, railroad tracks, electric wires, rooftops, rice fields, lines of light shining through gaps in the trees, strong shadows spreading at my feet. The lines continued forever, and the patterns seemed to have an infinite expanse. They still fill my world today.
