This is a photo book by Danish photographer and filmmaker Michella Bredahl. Michella's style is in the same lineage as influential female portrait artists such as Nan Goldin, Corinne Day, Lise Sarfati, and Deanna Lawson.

The artist, who had a brutal childhood growing up in a huge council estate on the outskirts of Copenhagen, was scouted as a model at a young age, exposed to the camera, objectified, gazed upon, at the mercy of men and power. Her portraits are born from introspection and self-observation, and in her portraits of women and other subjects at their most relaxed, pensive and candid, she finds traces of her own domestic trauma, parts of her missing self.

Heralding a new style of portraiture, LOVE ME AGAIN expresses the quiet miracle of being a woman living in the modern age and the power of feminine joy, with a refined aesthetic and sense of solidarity, without reducing her identity and her experiences to clichés such as "empowerment," "liberation" or "resistance."
