This photo book by Irish photographer Joshua Gordon was published in 2023 by the French publisher CLASSIC PARIS. The first edition was limited to 200 copies.

As a person, Joshua has been fascinated by social outsiders and those who live on the fringes of society. As a photographer and artist, he has considered how these people should be treated and has done his best to portray them honestly through his camera. The characters stare straight into the lens, unassuming and unquestioning. The photographs in this book reflect Joshua's deep compassion and intense curiosity, but also his own feelings of loneliness, loss and fear.

In this book, Joshua combines text and photography to tell the story of his life experiences over the last four years: London, Paris, Berlin, Tokyo, Los Angeles... In pursuit of utopia, he photographed and recorded in all these locations, creating a book that is full of emotion and energy.
