Katsuji Wakisaka, who currently designs for SOU・SOU, was the first Japanese textile designer to work for Marimekko. In the 1960s, he traveled to Finland alone and created the famous "BO BOO" design.

This is a wonderful book that introduces his experiences during his time at Marimekko and his subsequent move to Larsen & Co. in New York, as well as his textile designs and original drawings, along with 10,000 postcards he addressed to his wife.

The works and ideas he has created over the past 44 years have not faded with the passage of time, and are still loved by many people today, featured on a variety of products.
