This is the first issue of the zine "loosejoints JOURNAL" by Tokyo-based creative label and platform "loosejoints". The magazine introduces artworks by 15 artists including Tomoo Gokita and Yoshirotten, who are well-known in the art scene both in Japan and overseas. It also contains an interview with "TOGA" designer Yasuko Furuta and artist Ed Davis, titled ARTIST TALK, making it a packed magazine with plenty of content.

"Loosejoints JOURNAL" was launched before the coronavirus pandemic with the aim of recording the formation of a new culture that transcends borders and generations in a socially informed manner, following "GUGGEHEIM", which was launched before the coronavirus pandemic, and "almanacs", which reported on an era when people around the world were divided by various classes. The theme of the first issue is "Back to Life". Now that the self-restraint mood has passed and we are regaining our lost physicality, we will once again think about "living".
