Specification The fourth installment of Lula BOOKS, a publishing project by Lula Japan Inc., the publisher of Lula Japan, is Assembly Teshikaga, a collection of works by photographer Yokonami Osamu.
Yokonami Osamu's photographic expression, characterized by a unique sense of humor and clarity, has been acclaimed both in Japan and overseas, and he continues to be active at the forefront of a wide range of genres.
In the "Assembly" series, which began in 2010, she focuses on the strength and beauty of groups, capturing images of girls dressed in the same outfits in the rich natural surroundings of places like Hokkaido, Okinawa, Phuket, and New Zealand.
"Assembly Teshikaga" is the latest installment in the series, set in Teshikaga, Hokkaido, a city surrounded by deep forests and beautiful waters.
Girls in uniform step firmly onto the snowy ground and move forward with determination.
While the theme is the same as his previous series of works, "giving anonymity to individuals while highlighting their collective existence," the photographs here convey even more of the harshness of nature and its awe-inspiring sublimity, and poignantly express the power of innocent life.
Please take a look at the new developments in "Assembly," which Osamu Yokonami has been working on for over 10 years.
