Photographer Kyohei Hattori's latest photobook, "Bacon," was inspired by the sound of the shutter of the medium-format camera that Hattori uses. The sound of the shutter is not recorded in the photograph, and although it is something we take for granted, it is something that is indispensable and feels unnatural when it is not there. As with the title, through this work, Hattori carefully scoops up everyday moments that are often overlooked, and closely examines the richness and beauty of everyday life that at first glance seems ordinary. This book gives you the opportunity to look again at the common and universal, and reconsider and explore what is important.
