This book features eight artists from Japan and abroad, from Paris-based brand PAM and FACETASM, created by Hiromichi Ochiai.
The project, named "PAMTASM," is based on the keyword "various faces," which is in line with the origins of FACETASM, and focuses on the idea of the god Janus, who is said to have two faces, one at the front and one at the back, from PAM's unique perspective as a brand that continues to produce unique, cult-like designs.
This book brings together five "FACES" imagined by artists with different backgrounds, including fashion designers, contemporary artists, photographers, and graphic designers.
The cover graphics were created by SK8THING, one of the participating artists.
The book is divided into two parts, and when you turn the page, the two different "FACES" combine to reveal a new face. The psychedelic design was created by PAM founder Misha Hollenbach.
