This special art book also serves as a catalogue for a large-scale solo exhibition held at the PLAY! MUSEUM in Tachikawa, Tokyo, by dye artist and artist Samiro Yunoki (born 1922 in Tokyo). Yunoki's work continues today, spanning more than 70 years, from dyeing works that boldly use stencil dyeing to prints, paintings, sculptures, and picture books. This book features a wealth of original photographs of works from 1969 to 2020. It also includes an interview entitled "Leaving the Heart in Shape." A B1-sized poster of a full-sized dyeing work cut out is included as the cover of the book. (There are four types of covers. You cannot choose the type.)
