Thanks to you, I've been through a lot of hardships, but this is the first letter I'm writing to you. I'll try not to complain too much. Although I've been through a lot thanks to you, it's not just that. There are things I couldn't have imagined without you, things I couldn't have experienced without you, and you've helped me many times.
I've spent more time with you than anyone else, and closer to you than anyone else. This relationship will probably continue for the rest of my life. So you probably know me better than anyone else, maybe even better than I know myself. It's ironic that the person who understands me the most is also my biggest enemy.
I'm sure you don't want to eat away at my body, do you? Because you are also an inhabitant of this body. Or are you doing this for me? What did you think when you saw this photo book? There are so many things I want to talk to you about. There have been so many times when I wished you didn't exist, and even now I hate you. But I can't really put it into words, but I think that having you is something very special. I'm even attached to you now. I want to talk to you.
Please reply if possible, it doesn't have to be right away. It can be decades from now, or even after I'm dead. I'd like a reply if possible.
See you later.
Yoshikawa Ran
