This book is a catalogue raisonné of the works of Swiss architects Le Corbusier and Pierre Jeanneret, produced by French gallerist and collector Jacques Derasik, who has conducted long-term research into the furniture they created for Chandigarh, a city in the northern Indian state of Punjab.

The book includes photographs taken from the time to the present, documenting the importance of the architectural work and furniture production to this project, as well as a chapter devoted to many of the photographs taken by master architectural photographer Lucien Hervé on his first visit to Chandigarh.
