This is the fifth volume in a series of works introducing the architecture of Tadao Ando, with volumes 0 to 4 having been published so far. This is the first publication in seven years since volume 4.
This book introduces through photographs, drawings and sketches 19 projects that he continued to present both domestically and internationally between 2014 and 2022, despite suffering from a serious illness, including Bourse de Commerce (Paris), Zhendan Museum (Hangzhou), and Valley Gallery (Naoshima). The state of mind that the architect reached after confronting the major changes that had occurred within himself and in society is reflected in the subtitle "Dialogues."
