We aim to provide a venue for not only famous artists, but also up-and-coming artists who are not yet well-known to the world to actively express themselves.
By providing these services, we will create a framework for art that no one has seen before.
"FRAMED*" is a new category of interior device that allows you to decorate your space with digital art in the same way that you would decorate a room with paintings or objets d'art. This innovative display that links with the web has been designed as the world's first canvas for next-generation art, allowing you to experience beautiful digital art in your daily life. Simply hang it on the wall and select a piece of art to transform your everyday space into a virtual gallery full of creative expression.
This exhibition at GINZA TSUTAYA BOOKS will debut a new piece of art, "Q BRICK," by Japanese artist Mizue Mirai (animator, illustrator, designer), who has been involved with FRAMED since its early days. In addition, original animation drawings of characters from Mizue's previous "FRAMED*" work, "TATAMP EXTENSION," will be on display and for sale. Enjoy the characters moving around interactively in the digital art from both a digital and physical perspective.
[Introduction]
Mizue Mirai's new art piece "Q BRICK" will be shown for the first time in Japan at this exhibition.
This work, titled "Mysterious Blocks," is inspired by the way buildings under construction are built up and the way blocks are played with, which we see in our daily lives. This work allows you to appreciate the way the blocks are building and the way the moving blocks are stacked up. "Q BRICK" is a series, and many more pieces are scheduled to appear in the future.
*From the "Q BRICK" series, numbers 01 to 03 will be announced and released.

*Customers who purchase a "FRAMED*" device during the exhibition will receive a free "01," the first model in the new "Q BRICK" series.
This exhibition also represents "Digital x Physical," and one of the most popular pieces at "FRAMED*," "TATAMP EXTENSION," is a fusion of animation and programming, digitally capturing Mizue's hand-drawn animation and then determining and incorporating the personalities and movements of each and every character. The characters, inspired by insects and deep-sea creatures, react to motion sensors and perform interactive movements.
