■What is Mihotoke Samue?
This samue was proposed by Mihotoke, a producer and comedian who loves Buddhist statues and wears a samue every day, and is a style that allows you to "wear the healing power of Japanese culture."
With the theme of "making samue more part of everyday life," we are attempting to update the samue, a style that has long been loved.

■ [Medium-weight] Samue
The overall pattern is woven into the fabric, making it durable, easy to handle, and extremely comfortable to wear. You won't feel any stress even when wearing it for long periods of time.
The sleeves of the jacket are 8/10th length. When folded back, they become 3cm shorter, allowing you to see a glimpse of different colors, so you can use them for different occasions.
There is an outer pocket on the right hip and an inner pocket on the left chest.

It is made of 100% cotton and has a moderately uneven surface that is soft to the touch.
The pants are long and made of sturdy rubber so they won't get in the way even when doing physical work. The cuffs are rubber, which is a standard style for Mihotoke Samue.

・Russet
Azuki beans are the color of the azuki bean, a dull yellowish red. Azuki beans, which came to Japan during the Asuka period with Japanese envoys from the Sui dynasty, have long been loved in Japan as they are believed to ward off evil spirits.
It is a color between red and purple that combines a fashionable statement with the calmness unique to Japanese clothing.

・Navy
A deep blue with a purple tint. It was introduced from China around the Asuka period, and was often used for Buddhist statues and paintings during the Nara period, and was a traditional color that was also popular in ukiyo-e prints during the Edo period.
The color is a slightly lighter navy blue, as if the classic Mihotoke Samue color "lapis lazuli" had been washed several times.

・Black
It is a slightly lighter gray-black color than pitch black. It is the darkest of the five ink colors used in ink painting, the “burnt” color.

・Ecru
A pale yellowish white, as if woven from hemp fibers. This color reproduces the calming natural color of hemp cloth, which has been loved by people since prehistory. *The material is 100% cotton fabric.
