■What is Mihotoke Samue?
With the theme of "Make Samue More Daily," comedian "Mihotoke," who loves temples and Buddhist statues, is producing an original Samue with the Mihotoke logo.
■ [Thin] Samue
This original Samue with the Mihotoke logo is made from the same fabric as the brand's launch. Made from 100% cotton, this Samue is refreshing and perfect for getting through the hot and humid season.
By adding color to the cuffs of the sleeves and hems and to the waist cord, a "peek-a-boo color scheme" has been created, a playful touch unique to Mihotoke Samue Shop.
・Comfort
The fabric has just the right amount of firmness, and the cuffs and hem are elastic-free and have just the right amount of room, making it cool and comfortable to wear.
- Comes with Mihotoke Samue Shop "Thread Winding Pin"
You can freely adjust the opening of the chest area, which can be a problem. It can also be used as an accent piece by attaching it to your favorite place.
・About Wide Size
The width of the body and shoulders are wider, but the length is the same as the L size.
The Wide size is the haori only, and is sold as a set with the L size trousers.
■ Color
・Sumikuro (black): the color of monks' everyday clothing
It is a slightly lighter gray-black color than pitch black. It is the darkest of the five ink colors used in ink painting, the “burnt” color.
・Rurikon (navy) - the color of Buddha that appears in the scriptures
A deep blue color with a hint of lapis lazuli. The Pure Land where Yakushi Nyorai resides is called the "Pure Land of Lapis Lazuli Light," and is a beautiful color that is highly valued. It also appears in the sutras as the color of the Buddha's hair and the color of the Buddha's land.
・Yamabuki (amber): A color used in costumes since the Heian period.
A vibrant reddish yellow. It is a traditional color that appears in the Manyoshu and has been used in costumes since the Heian period.
・Matsuba (green) - an auspicious color that represents vitality
A deep, astringent blue-green color like pine needles. It is an ancient color that can also be seen in The Pillow Book. Since pine needles are a symbol of eternal youth and longevity because they have lush green leaves even in winter, it was used as an auspicious color that represents vitality.
