As a painter, Toshihiro Furuya has exhibited his work at contemporary art exhibitions both in Japan and overseas, and is active in many areas, including having serials in newspapers and magazines for critiques that are not limited to specific genres such as novels, art, anime, and movies. This is his first collection of novels, and he says that "everything about me is in this." The publisher's website describes it as "astonishing, showing new possibilities for novels." The seven works, including those published in Gunzo, Waseda Bungaku, Kotoba to, and other magazines, plus newly written works, were published in 2024, when the series of lectures and exhibitions will be held.
