Specification Styled by Karl Templer, fashion photographer Craig McDean shot Australian model Julia Nobis on the streets of New York. The story is inspired by photographer Eadweard Muybridge and features the brand's Fall/Winter 2023 collection and the limited edition jewelry collection CARTIER TRINITY FOR CHITOSE ABE of sacai, created by Cartier and Chitose Abe.
In collaboration with TOO MUCH Magazine, an independent Tokyo-based magazine that focuses on topics related to art and architecture, the project explores the connection between sacai and architecture through in-depth interviews with renowned Japanese architects Sou Fujimoto and Yusuke Seki, who were responsible for the extensive renovation of sacai's flagship store, sacai Aoyama.

Incorporating a hybrid mindset, Abe combines contrasting textures, such as knits and delicate woven materials, reinterpreting patterns and transforming clothes into unexpected shapes and silhouettes. While the collection has a feminine look, Abe's interest remains in creating unique yet universal, innovative and experimental clothing. Inspired by the daily life and observing the people around him, the collection breaks down and transforms basic and classical items, exuding a unique elegance. The items are suitable for a variety of occasions, not just specific ones.
