Founded by Edwin Land in 1937, Polaroid is a symbol of American innovation and engineering prowess. Polaroid launched the groundbreaking Polaroid SX-70 camera in 1972 and pioneered instant photography with groundbreaking innovations such as the original One-Step, color instant film, Polaroid 600 and Spectra camera and film formats.
Artists who used and were inspired by Polaroid cameras, including Andy Warhol, Helmut Newton, Robert Mapplethorpe, Maripol, Keith Haring and Guy Bourdin, have established Polaroid as a cultural icon.

sacai

Designer Chitose Abe started the brand in Tokyo in 1999. She combines contrasting textures of fabrics, such as knitwear and delicate woven materials, reinterprets patterns, and incorporates hybrid ideas to transform clothes into unexpected forms and silhouettes. She has participated in the Paris Collection since 2011. Her concept is "design based on the everyday" that can be used in a variety of everyday situations.
