Official catalogue of the exhibition "Panta Rei" by Yukimasa Ida
Yukimasa Ida is an artist who has been gaining attention in recent years, with his works being sold at high prices at overseas auctions. Despite still being in his early 30s, he has already achieved high acclaim overseas, and last year he became the first Asian artist to hold a solo exhibition at the Picasso Museum in Spain. In Japan, he also attracted attention with a large advertisement he put up at Shibuya Scramble.
To coincide with Ida's first exhibition in Japan, "Panta Rei (ancient Greek word for everything in flux)," which is the culmination of his career to date, the artwork will be published in a trilogy consisting of a book, a catalog, and a SUMO book, and will be widely introduced not only to visitors to the exhibition but also to art fans. This book is the second of the trilogy, a B4-sized official exhibition catalog. In addition to the approximately 400 works exhibited at the Kyocera Museum of Art, the book includes new photos of the installation at the exhibition venue, which is also a historic building, allowing you to experience the exhibition virtually. Since the photos are of the exhibition views, the book will be published after the exhibition opens.
