On November 7, 2022, they succeeded in capturing that moment on camera for the first time.
The rain from the previous night flows into the tip of the tidal flats and spreads out to the left and right.
Eventually a thin stream begins to overflow from the swollen tip.
The rising and falling waves of the high tide gradually drew closer to each other, until finally the dammed end of the river burst its banks into the sea.
At that moment, all the water that had accumulated in the tidal flats rushed out into the sea.
A whirlpool like I'd never seen before was born, then disappeared, and I was pulled into the waves, into the sea.

The living swells crawl around here and there, and after about an hour the whirlpool disappears.
The river flowed into the sea as if it had always been there, growing larger and wider.

I now stand at the mouth of the Matol River where we were reunited.
A new flow has just begun to open up within me.
