"Handle with Care" is the first collection of works by the up-and-coming contemporary artist So Sou En, providing a comprehensive look at his work to date.

In recent years, Souen has been performing powerful performances in which he holds raw eggs, a symbol of life, in the hollows of his body and moves without dropping them. In order to poetically express the feelings he puts into his formless, ephemeral performances in the form of a book, the actual work is structured to gently connect and respond to each other, including photos and stills from the performances, installations, paintings, and related notes and drawings. Guided by images and words, this book explores Souen's thoughts as he explores fundamental questions through his physicality.
