This monograph is about the architecture and projects created by Kazuyo Sejima and Ryue Nishizawa between 2015 and 2023, working together as SANAA and individually. The book is a sequel to El Croquis 205.

SANAA was founded in 1995 and has received numerous international awards. Sejima was born in Ibaraki Prefecture in 1956 and worked at Toyo Ito & Associates, Architects before going independent. Nishizawa was born in Tokyo in 1966 and has continued to be involved in architectural education since going independent.
