While Anio Tenyu has gained a large fan base, mainly male, as a gravure idol, she also has many female fans as a subcultural artist and model with her unique sensibilities.
The reason she decided to take on the bold challenge of publishing a fully nude photo book is, "When I thought about where I was heading in the future, I realized I needed to know who I am now. So I decided to first look at everything objectively, and stand in front of the camera as my true self."
A mysterious eroticism that is different from the easy-to-understand instinctual nude photos permeates the entire book. This is a nude photo collection filled with the artist's enthusiasm as an artist, overflowing with the determination to live as one's true self.

The photographer is Matsuoka Ittetsu, who is said to be the most popular photographer in the gravure world right now. Matsuoka's photos, which sometimes show the vitality of his subjects in a rough and sometimes precise way, can be said to be a solitary piece in today's photography world, where smart, low-humidity photos are the norm. However, due to his vividness and strong presence, Matsuoka has recently been chosen by many actresses as their photo shoot partner. The chemistry between Matsuoka and the model, Anio Tenyu, is intense, making this a must-see book for photography fans.

This photobook also inherits the name of the old photobook "Monthly Series." Publishing producer Iwata has protected the name of the series by working in a free address system (selecting the publisher for each work), but with the desire to "question the power of photography once again to the world," this is the first work in the series to be published by Kodansha.
