A collection of works by Los Angeles-based photographer Gregory Bojorquez. This book contains the "Eastsiders" series, which Bojorquez has photographed for 30 years since he was a teenager, capturing the local community, friends, and family in East Los Angeles, where he was born and raised. Part of this series was exhibited at the solo exhibition "Hang Time" held at Galerie Bene Taschen in Cologne in June 2022.

The film presents Bohórquez's body of work, which depicts the complex yet celebratory reality of a vast area of East Los Angeles: the tattoos, the clothes, the walls, but also the mothers, the gardens, the children, the working men, the decked-out lowriders, the drive to overcome - all of which reflect La Vida Loca (Spanish for "The Crazy Life").
