The story of his hometown Hachijojima and his father, his current base of operations in New York, and his family, some of which were also revealed in the limited booklet "Seeing My Father," captures the state of the universal world through stills.

Jiro Konami
Born in 1986. Photographer. For the first eight years of his career, he continued to photograph his own father, and in 2010 he won the Fuji Photo Salon Newcomer Award for his work that recorded the exquisite distance between father and son, earning him high praise. He has published photo books such as "Looking at my father" in 2013, "personal memory" in 2014, "PARADAISE TOKYO" in 2015, "GIMATAI" in 2017, "Straigt, No chaser" in 2018, and "Name Daruma" in 2021. His main solo exhibitions include G/P FRONT LINE SHOW "complex and more" (Spiral garden) in 2011, "UK-curtain call" (KONICA MINOLTA Gallery) in 2012, "Loolong at my father" (Fuji film salon) in 2013, "GIMATAI" (Book Marc) in 2016, and "GIMATAI" (common Gallery) in 2021. He has also held numerous group exhibitions. He moved his base of operations to New York in 2017. His work has been published in The New York Times, iD Magazine, and other publications.
