About the productJapanese

This book is a collection of previously unpublished photographs by Chris Stein, a central member of the band Blondie, who became icons of the golden age of New Wave, the subsequent movement that saw punk spread from London to New York in the late 1970s.

The book also features appearances by Debbie Harry, the only female member of Blondie, the Ramones, and Andy Warhol, and allows the viewer to look at the mood of the streets of New York in the late 1970s and 1980s from his private perspective as someone who was at the center of the culture of the time.
