This work is a compilation of the works of photographer Koji Onaka, who had been taking black and white photographs for many years, before abandoning black and white photography and starting to shoot in negative color. The photographs in this volume were taken about 20 years ago, when Onaka was 39 years old and felt that his artistic life had reached a dead end.

Armed with new photography techniques, he traveled around Japan and recorded the photos, which, when viewed, bring back memories of nostalgic summers with a sense of déjà vu. The summer of 20 years ago that Onaka collected will surely evoke memories of summers that everyone has.
