This book features 25 of their major projects, carefully selected by art historian Stanislaus von Muth and architect Arthur Ruge, with a wealth of photographs, drawings, and other materials. Von Muth explores the influence of perception in painting, sculpture, and photography on them, while Ruge discusses their ambivalent view of architecture and how it is expressed in each project. Also included are unpublished photographs from Pierre de Meuron and Jacques Herzog's postcard collections.
