While working at Light Publicity, he produced two movie posters every month for nine years from 1959 to 1968, without any guarantee. Later, as a film director, he produced films such as "Mahjong Hyouryoku" and "Kaitou Ruby", and wrote film books such as the "The Fun is Just Beginning" series. This could be said to be his fundamental "film work", as he has been working on "film work" throughout his life.

Makoto Wada drew the motifs from the film, and Saito Process (a printing company patronized by Kohei Sugiura and Kiyoshi Awazu) silkscreen printed them.
Apparently, Makoto Wada himself would take the train to the printing company to pick up the completed poster. From BB to Monica Vitti, Catherine Spaak, and Jean Seberg.
It also includes "Apartment Key Rental" and "Suddenly, Like a Flame." This is a must-have book for fans of Makoto Wada and film fans.
