Hiroshi Nagai is a popular illustrator who has been active since the 1970s, creating numerous record jackets and advertisements, including the cover design for the timeless classic "A LONG VACATION" (by Eiichi Ohtaki).
His unique style, which seems to mix surrealism and pop art, gradually took shape within him, coupled with his 40-day trip to America in the early 1970s and the sight of palm trees lining the streets in front of the station in his hometown.
