■ Introduction of target books
Photo collection "Special Monthly Tomite Ami" Photographed by Nomura Keiko
On sale from Shogakukan on August 30th
Tomite, who starred in director Sion Sono's "Antiporno" and has been heavily used in Sono's works since then, is known for her physical acting in various works. This time, on the milestone of her 10th debut anniversary, she has taken on the challenge of a nude photo book, which she says is very meaningful to her.
The photographer for this work is Keiko Nomura, who has just won the 28th Tadahiko Hayashi Award and is highly regarded for her sharp eyes and excellent sense of color. The two energetic photographers took part in a spontaneous trip through Vietnam, and the result is a passionate photo book.
Actor Lily Franky, who co-starred with Tomite in Netflix's "The Naked Director" (available exclusively worldwide from August 8th), commented on the film, saying, "There is a story in Tomite Ami's expressions and body. It is as if she was once beside me, but can no longer be met. It is a fleeting story that weaves a delusion."
