A collaboration product commemorating the first anniversary of the opening of Kyoto Takashimaya TSUTAYA BOOKS.
We created the "Fukiyose" cans with an incense theme. Each candy contains spices and herbs that are ingredients in incense, and features an incense-related design.
This can of sable cookies is typical of Yanagi no Niwa Kyoto Confectionery Shop, packing the essence and techniques of Japanese and Western culture, as well as the traditions and culture of Kyoto, into one can.

A confectionery shop without a storefront, with a workshop in Kinugasa, Kyoto. Confectioner Emi Tomohiko and food coordinator Mishima Yoko started planning and running the project in 2020. They work hard every day making sweets to convey the deliciousness of handmade products.
