Paper lanterns have lit up the lives of Japanese people. The gentle light that shines from the washi paper remains the same, but now they can be carried anywhere in the house to light up the dining table, living room, or bedside. The warm, soft, gentle light gently relaxes our minds, which are filled with strong light. Nakagawa Masashichi Shoten has proposed a new style of lantern based on the traditional Yame paper lantern, which has served as a guide for our ancestors for many years as a Bon Festival lantern.
The cylinder that supports the lantern is a size that makes it easy for both adults and children to carry. Making use of the lightweight nature of lanterns made from washi paper, the lanterns have a low center of gravity and can remain stable even though they have a small footprint despite their large head.
The metal part at the top of the lantern is also equipped with a touch sensor, which turns it on with just a touch and allows you to adjust the brightness in three steps.
