Specification From masterpieces dating back to his student days to more recent works, objects scattered around his studio, his treasured records, and various encounters from his birth in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture in 1959 to the present day. A journey to the "place of beginnings" that shaped Nara Yoshitomo.
Home, layers of time and space, travel, No War, rock cafe "33 1/3" and a small community.
In order to discover the single trunk that leads to the origins of this sensibility, the book includes photographs of the venue, illustrations of the works, a detailed chronology of Nara, and essays by researchers, all organized around five themes.
Contributions: Masato Goda (philosophy researcher), Josh Kun (music critic), Shigemi Takahashi (Aomori Museum of Art)
