"Sonnenglas(R)" is a solar LED lantern produced under a fair trade system in South Africa. It charges with sunlight during the day from the solar panel on the top, and illuminates the surroundings with a gentle light at night.
The Sonnenglas(R) Model Generation 6 can be used as a lantern with a bottle, or as a portable light with the SOMO(TM) solar top by itself. It can be put in a bag or pocket and taken to various places.

■ Main features of Sonnenglas(R)(Generation 6)
- Compared to previous models, the light output is 5 times greater (up to 100 lumens) and the light duration is 30% longer.
-When the switch is turned off, you can check the remaining charge on the battery level indicator on the top (displayed in a green-red gradient).
- It is activated by a magnetic switch that senses the brightness, switching it on at night and automatically switching it off in the morning to save energy.
- You can check whether the amount of sunlight is appropriate when charging.
- Not only can it be used as a solar lantern, but the solar top (SOMO(TM)) can also be used alone as a portable light.
