Naoya Hatakeyama, who consistently creates works with urban themes, photographed the remains of former quarries in Paris in this series. Noticing the countless holes that exist beneath that large city, Hatakeyama visited and photographed several former quarries (most of which are limestone quarries) with the cooperation of the Paris Quarry Management Office. This work is connected to the series of urban scenes that Hatakeyama represents, such as Limeworks and Blast. There are countless remains of quarries beneath the city of Paris, some of which still remain today.

This is a set of two books, including the original novel "The Astrologer" by Sylvie Germain. This special edition comes with an original print (Type C print).
