Noriko Ichida, editorial director of "Kurashi no nabeso" and "Otona ni naru kureta wo kitai fuku" (both published by Shufu to Seikatsusha), will be holding a talk event at HIROSHIMA TSUTAYA BOOKS to commemorate the release of "Father's coat and mother's cane: I met my father and mother again at the final corner of my parents' lives" (published by Shufu to Seikatsusha).

The theme of this book is "How to deal with aging parents."
Ichida's father was a hard-working employee in the Showa era, and her mother was a full-time housewife who supported him. Her parents, who seemed to be healthy forever, are now in their 80s and 90s, and when they need her support, what will Ichida do?
"How should we accompany our parents as they reach the final corner of their lives?"
Ichida will talk about his new book, including some of his own experiences of currently dealing with his aging parents.
If you are currently dealing with elderly parents, if you are still healthy but worried about your parents' future, or if you want to think about your own old age, why not listen to what Ichida has to say? After the talk, we will be holding a signing session at our store for customers who purchase "My Dad's Coat and My Mom's Cane." We look forward to seeing you there.
