Hiroshima Mercato is held regularly every month.

Mercato means "market" in Italian.
The store offers a wide range of seasonal ingredients, as well as fresh vegetables carefully grown by local farmers.
 
There will be lots of delicious food in December.
Please enjoy the delicious seasonal food that connects producers with customers.

Hi Chai Farm / Herbal tea

These are 100% handmade, healthy teas grown with the delicious water of Hatsukaichi.
Tulsi tea, indigo tea, lemongrass, mint, etc. These herbs are recommended for busy or tired people.

Sasaki Tofu Shop / Tofu
Founded in 1894, we are committed to using delicious soybeans from our local city of Miyoshi and handmade products.

Okomen Kobo / Rice noodles, seasonal vegetables
We make rice-based noodles deep in the mountains in Yamatocho, Mihara City, Hiroshima Prefecture.
They will be selling healthy noodles made only from rice flour they grew themselves, potato starch from Hokkaido, and water from deep in the mountains. They will also be selling vegetables from Koichan Farm, which grows vegetables in the same Yamato town soil without the use of pesticides, chemical fertilizers, or herbicides.
 
 
 
 Ueno Gardening /Tomato
The name "Kuuchu Tomatoes" comes from the fact that they are grown as if they are floating in the air.
We carefully cultivate our tea to achieve a good balance of sweetness and acidity, richness and freshness.

Honey collected from various apiaries in Hiroshima Prefecture.
We lovingly cultivate the flavors of each region of the Setouchi region, including Miyajima and Etajima.

Shimomin Farm /Seasonal vegetables
We grow vegetables in Akasaka-cho, Fukuyama City without using pesticides or chemical fertilizers.
The reason we started farming was because we were impressed by the delicious vegetables we had eaten.
We grow vegetables with the hope that many people will experience the joy of food.
 
 
 
Kitchen Produce SAN-B / Flying Fish Stock
We sell charcoal-grilled flying fish made using traditional methods, shipped directly from Hirado City, Nagasaki Prefecture.
Raw flying fish caught in the waters off Hirado are skewered one by one, grilled over charcoal, and then dried.
Flying fish, which only eat plankton, have no bitterness and produce a clear, refined broth.
On the day, we will also be selling salted flying fish, which is rare in Hiroshima.
 
 
 
Yoshiwa Basin VegetablesFumotoya / Seasonal vegetables
We lovingly grow a wide variety of vegetables (50 varieties per year) in small quantities using pesticide-free organic farming in the Shiwa Basin in Higashihiroshima City.
I would like to continue to try new things, such as using more unusual vegetables as a base, using familiar vegetables that we use on a daily basis.
 
 
 
Sera Mushroom Garden / Matsukinoko
"Pine mushrooms," which can be eaten raw, are grown in Sera Town.
It is a type of shiitake mushroom and looks very similar to matsutake mushrooms.
It has the natural aroma of mushrooms and a crunchy, chewy texture.
Please try the delicious mushrooms.
 
 
 
Dojoya /Seasonal vegetables
Vegetable cultivation is soil cultivation
We grow delicious vegetables, respecting the farming methods that were common in Japan long ago.
We deliver the vitality of seasonal vegetables, including "roots, leaves, soil," grass and insects. We want you to eat "the whole life of the vegetables."
We want our loach farm to be an extension of your dining table.
 
 
 
 Bread and/ bread
"Panto" is a bread made with homemade yeast from Mitsugi Town, north of Onomichi.
"Pan to" aims to make "meal bread" that fits into everyday life. We use simple, high-quality ingredients, and use 100% domestic wheat so that everyone from children to adults can eat it with peace of mind. This bread has a chewy texture and a "lively wheat flavor" made by slowly aging whole wheat yeast.

 
 
 Miyahara Fisheries/ Chirimen
The chirimen is slowly dried in the sun, and then experienced staff painstakingly remove small fish and seaweed by hand.
For the sake of our customers' health, we are particular about the amount of salt, so that our customers can eat our products with peace of mind. We ensure that the innards of our anchovies are not bitter, and that our dried sardines are not too salty...we continue to provide products that can be enjoyed by both children and the elderly.

 
 
 Sunaya Cocco Village/ Free-range fertilized eggs
The chickens are raised naturally on a free-range basis, fed with homemade fermented feed and clean, delicious water from Yuki Town. By letting them roam freely in the open fields, they spend their days running around and fighting in good health. Healthy and energetic parent chickens produce healthy and beautiful young chickens.They lay delicious fertilized eggs.
