Things that I used to enjoy reading in books and on social media
Meeting in person makes me like it even more.

This time, we will be welcoming artists with the theme of "embroidery".
Exhibition of works and sale of embroidery kits,
We will hold a workshop where you can learn directly from the artist himself.

Also, Nihon Vogue's magazine "Stitch Idea vol.42"
We will be exhibiting the works published in the magazine and selling kits.

Please take this opportunity to check out the wonderful embroidery works.

Participating Artists

◆Hiroko Ishii

<Artist Introduction>
Embroidery artist/illustrator/embroidery instructor
I mainly do embroidery illustrations and analog illustrations, and also design embroidery kits.
Currently active as a lecturer at workshops and in exhibitions.

◆Rairai (Wakako Horai)

<Artist Introduction>
Born in Hyogo Prefecture, she currently lives in Kyoto City, Kyoto Prefecture. She majored in dyeing and weaving at university, and makes clothes as a hobby.
She started her career as Rairai and began to attract attention for her delicate and nostalgic embroidery on clothes.
Currently, she is mainly presenting "wearable embroidery" works. She is active in selling her works at exhibitions, submitting her works to magazines, supervising embroidery kits, and publishing books.
Publications
She has written many books, including "Embroidery to Dress Up, Embroidery to Wear," "Wakako Horai's Embroidery" (Bunka Publishing Bureau), and "Flower Embroidery for Adults" (Nihon Vogue-sha).

◆Orso ricamato
(Ortho Lycamato)

<Artist Introduction>
Embroidery artist. Living in Aichi Prefecture. Using her favorite bears and animals as motifs, she creates delicate and warm embroidery with a focus on color usage.
Currently, the company is focusing on sales at online shops, events, and special exhibitions.
Publications
Her first book, "Enjoy the Four Seasons with Cute Bear Embroidery" (Sangyo Editorial Center), is now on sale.

◆Mimura Tomomi

<Artist Introduction>
The colorful world created using the unique darning technique "mosaic darning" will light up your heart and add color to your life.
Currently, he is active both in Japan and overseas, holding events and workshops.
Publications
Her books include "Darning Embroidery," "Large Darning Embroidery," and "Small Darning Embroidery" (Seibundo Shinkosha).

◆ Making a small flower embroidered brooch

From the design of "Little Flowers" published in "Horai Wakako's Embroidery: Techniques for a Beautiful Finish" (Bunka Publishing Bureau)
Choose a motif of your choice and have it embroidered and made into a brooch on a wooden frame.
You can freely choose from several options for the color matching of linen fabric and embroidery thread.
It only uses basic stitches, so it's perfect for beginners.

◆CAHIER Embroidery Class

Event Details
Create an embroidered brooch using basic French embroidery stitches.
We use kits with printed designs, so even beginners can easily make it.
