【フェア】根付の地平をさらう
ー江戸から現代までー

珍重される超絶技巧など江戸時代の"古根付"から独特な造形と洒落で愛好者が増えている"現代根付" までを時系列に再構成した展示「根付の地平をさらうー江戸から現代までー」を2023年9月12日（火）〜9月25日（月）の期間に開催いたします。

 

江戸時代に実用として使われていたものを"古典根付""古根付"といい、明治、大正そして終戦までに制作されたものを「近代根付」、戦後以降に制作されたものを「現代根付」と呼びます。現代根付は江戸時代からの伝統技術を継承しながらも、新しい素材や技法で造られ続けています。

 

現代根付の源流である江戸時代の古根付をあわせて鑑賞することで、根付の歴史の流れを感じることができます。

奥が深い根付の世界。根付好きなお客様もあらためて包括的に見ることで新たな発見があるかもしれません。

 

 

展览《探索根付的地平线-从江户到现代》将于2023年9月12日（周二）至9月25日（周一）举办。展览以时间轴为基础，重新构建了从江户时代注重极致技巧的"古根付"（古代吊坠），到由于其独特的造型和精致的细节而在爱好者中日益受欢迎的"现代根付”。
 
江户时代实际被使用的被称为"古典根付"或"古根付"，而制作于明治、大正和战争结束前的则被称为"近代根付"，战后制作的则被称为"现代根付"。现代根付在传承了江户时代的传统技术的基础上，使用新材料和新技法进行制作。
 
通过同时欣赏现代根付和其源头的源自江户时代的古根付，您可以感受到根付的历史发展脉络。

From September 12th (Tuesday) to September 25th (Monday), 2023, we will hold an exhibition titled "Exploring the Horizons of Netsuke : From Edo to the Present Day," which is a chronological reconstruction of the "old netsuke" of the Edo period, such as the prized transcendent techniques, to the "contemporary netsuke" that are gaining more and more lovers due to their unique shape and fashion. 

Netsuke that were used for practical use in the Edo period are called "classical netsuke" or "old netsuke", while the term "modern netsuke" is used for Netsuke carved during the Meiji and Taisho periods and before the end of World War II. The term "contemporary netsuke" is used post-World War II. Contemporary netsuke inherited traditional techniques from the Edo period but are made with new materials and methods.

By appreciating the old netsuke of the Edo period, which are the origin of the contemporary ones, you can feel the flow of the history of netsuke.

The world of netsuke art is a deep and fascinating one, and visitors who enjoy netsuke will find something new and exciting to see at this inclusive exhibition.
