To commemorate the publication of the November issue of Fukuinkan Shoten's Little Science Friends, "Tickle, Fluffy, Buwawawa," author Toyo Takemura will be holding a workshop using Japanese paper. In the Little Science Friends picture book, plants and fluff are expressed through paper cutting using Japanese paper dyed with Japanese painting paints.

Let's create a lovely autumn collage by tearing up some Japanese paper dyed with Japanese painting paints and pasting it onto paper with a sketch on it.
We also have paper cutout parts such as fallen leaves available.
Let's enjoy the artistic autumn with collage.
Anyone from small children to adults can participate. Please feel free to apply.

The entire event is scheduled for approximately 40 minutes.
There will also be an autograph session with Takemura at the end of each session.
Books for signing will be available at the event venue. Please purchase them at the register on the day.

竹村 東代子 (たけむら・とよこ)
イラストレーター、切り絵造形作家。武蔵野美術大学日本画学科卒業。 日本画のテイストを生かした緻密な植物のイラスト、和紙を使用した細密な切り絵作品を得意としており、書籍や広告などにも多くの作品を発表している。 切り絵の個展やワークショップ開催やテキスタイル、雑貨のデザインも。 2022年 福音館書店 ちいさなかがくのともシリーズより 絵本「きらきらくものす みーつけた！」発売 2024年 10月 福音館書店 ちいさなかがくのともシリーズより 絵本「こちょこちょ もこもこ ぶわわわわ」発売予定
