A workshop will be held in connection with the SOUVENIR fair, run by Aya Hasegawa, designer of the Japanese clothing brand Barairo.

The main theme is "Workshops to enjoy craftsmanship in everyday life."

The main illustration of this fair is decorated with iron-on prints.
Feel free to stick on any shape you like to create your own original bag.
If that's not enough, we also have materials like lace and pompoms available.

The bag is made from "Mikawa obi-shin" material, which originated in the Mikawa region of Aichi Prefecture, which has prospered through the cotton industry since the Edo period.
The characteristic of Mikawa obi core, which is only made in this region, is its firmness and toughness, which is achieved by weaving the weft threads at a high density over a long period of time.
It becomes a "robust fabric woven in a way that pushes air out."
Using this, we had a tote bag made that was the perfect size (30 x 30cm) to be carried with both Western clothes and a kimono.
The stitching is red and it is completely original with the brand tag attached.
