From July 12 to 17 of this year, the two of them worked together on a field survey for the Japan Foundation's project on care in Southeast Asia. It was as if Ito was visiting the field of Ishioka, the author of "Introduction to Ethnography."
Apparently, they had many conversations in the car while traveling and at the meal table in the Philippines. We plan to have them freely continue these discussions and chats that they had in the Philippines.
There will be no prior meetings. We will be talking about research, books, "existence relationships," and other topics that can only be heard here. Please come along.

石岡 丈昇 (いしおか・とものり)
1977年、岡山市生まれ。専門は社会学／身体文化論。日本大学文理学部社会学科教授。フィリピン・マニラを主な事例地として、社会学／身体文化論の研究をおこなう。著作に『タイミングの社会学』、『ローカルボクサーと貧困世界』、共著に『質的社会調査の方法』など。

伊藤 亜紗 (いとう・あさ)
1979年、東京生まれ。東京工業大学科学技術創成研究院未来の人類研究センター長。同リベラルアーツ研究教育院教授。専門は美学、現代アート。主な著作に『目の見えない人は世界をどう見ているのか』、『どもる体』、『記憶する体』、『手の倫理』など。
