[Fair] "#Millennium Reading" x "#Thousand People Reading"
Yoshiaki Misako, humanities concierge at UMEDA TSUTAYA BOOKS, has published his first book.
"A Thousand Years of Reading: Encounters with Books that Change Your Life" (Seibundo Shinkosha) is composed of chapters on themes such as "Difficulties in living," "Work style," "Money," "Food," "Happiness," and "Death."
This is a reading essay that introduces over 250 interesting books from all over the world, past and present.
We will introduce ways to see the world through books and give you tips on how to find that one book that will change your life.
■To commemorate the publication of this book, we will be holding a "#1,000PeopleReading" fair!
We are looking for books that you have loved and read for a long time.

Yoshiaki Misago
Born in Hyogo Prefecture in 1982. After graduating from university, he worked for Kosakusha Co., Ltd. before joining Culture Convenience Club Co., Ltd. He participated in the launch of UMEDA TSUTAYA BOOKS. His main work to date includes the book selection project "Reading School" at the bookstore and the reading course "Life-changing! The Ultimate Book Guide" at the NHK Culture Center Kyoto classroom. He writes a series of reading essays for "WEB Books Love" (Kobunsha) and other publications. He is the head of the "Reading Room" which connects people with books.
