"#weeeels" is a unique mobile event where creators inspired by spinning objects such as cars, motorbikes, skateboards and bicycles display their works of art and visitors can enjoy moving around the venue.

This event will feature a variety of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, photography, installations, etc. Visitors will be able to experience a new world of art as they explore different areas and regions.

We aim to connect the art scene with the local community as a great opportunity to spread the appeal of art and increase creativity and cohesion in the community.

DAIKANYAMA TSUTAYA BOOKS one of the venues, will exhibit and sell works by Kei Naito and FUG.

The gallery space on the first floor of Building 2 will feature other venues (STUDIO 4N, KICHI, UNIque)

Kei Naito

Artist

He is a car mechanic and also creates artworks. He is the creator of #weeeels.

His passion for cars is known both in Japan and overseas, and he was featured in Vol. 2 of TYPE 7, the official lifestyle magazine for PORSCHE. Due to the environment in which he grew up, his works are themed around cars, and one of his representative series is TOKYO 911 TALES. The TOKYO 911 TALES series is a series of works set in Tokyo, where Naito Kei was born and raised, that capture the moment when people, cars, and the city come together.

"Tokyo is a very large city, and it is a place where many people have come together. The cars and people passing by in the works are all captured in a single moment, but there are countless stories within them, and these stories are both heartbreaking and precious, and this was the theme behind the creation of these works.

When I walk the streets of Tokyo, I sometimes feel nostalgic and strange. In these scenes, there are always cars and people passing by, and in this series there are 9/11 stories.

Since he was two years old, he has been creating artworks centered around his favorite subject, cars.
